To support residents in Kabale Municipality to engage in food production and increase access to local food that is healthy for people and the planet.

Municipality with empowered Residents, creating resilience in the food system and having access to healthy, culturally appropriate, and sustainably produced food.

Our Objectives

• 1) Fostering and maintaining connections between producers and consumers of local and organic food and providing sources of support for their work.
• 2) To bring local farmers and consumers closer together and support growing and supply of fresh, healthy food locally
• 3) To promote fair trade and ensure that money generated is kept in the community
• 4) To impart knowledge and promote experience sharing among members and with other communities across Uganda that are also interested in developing local food cooperatives.
• 5) To strengthen local food networks and distribute locally produced food
